DESCRIPTION:The City of Morgantown is proud to announce that Country music singer, songwriter, and Morgantown native Charles Wesley Godwin will return to his hometown on Thursday, December 14, Friday, December 15, Saturday, December 16 and Sunday, December 17 to perform at the Metropolitan Theatre.\nTHE DECEMBER 16 SHOW IS SOLD OUT\nA typically prolific writer, and one who over his first two critically-acclaimed albums had proven himself to be a reflective and soulful songwriter and singer — a storyteller in the vein of his heroes like Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson and Bruce Springsteen— Godwin found himself in a state of stasis last year.
